Business Development Partner
Your role is focused on opening doors and identifying opportunities. That might mean leveraging your existing network, making introductions, or initiating conversations with organizations that are clearly in need of better digital infrastructure.
Once a conversation is active, we take over. We handle discovery, define the solution, scope the work, and close the deal. From there, we execute the project.
You are not responsible for delivery, project management, or technical work.
To put compensation into context:
- A $25,000 project results in a $5,000 payout
- A $100,000 project results in a $20,000 payout
There is no cap. The model is simple: if business comes in, you participate directly in the revenue.
- Leverage your existing network to identify organizations that need digital work
- Make introductions and initiate conversations with associations, nonprofits, and membership organizations
- Identify opportunities where 83 Creative’s capabilities align with an organization’s needs
- Hand off active conversations to the 83 Creative team for discovery, scoping, and closing
- Existing relationships with nonprofits, associations, or membership organizations
- Experience in agency environments, consulting, or business development roles
- Understanding of how decisions get made in mission-driven organizations and the ability to navigate those conversations
- This is especially well-suited for someone who wants to create an additional revenue stream without stepping away from their current role
- Prior experience in the association or nonprofit space as a member, employee, or consultant
- Existing network in the Washington DC metro area or among national trade associations
- Background in digital services, web development, or marketing agencies
- 20% commission on all closed deals, paid once the client has signed and funds have been received
- No cap on earnings
- Fully remote and flexible: no required hours or fixed schedule
- Can operate alongside your current position or professional activities
- Access to a capable delivery team: you bring the opportunity, we handle execution
